PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello Sutter Families,
It is hard to believe we have reached the last month of the school year! May is an eventful month. It marks the beginning of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Mother's Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, Cinco de Mayo, and Memorial Day. Upcoming school events include 6th Grade Fun Day, 7th and 8th Grade field trips, 8th Grade Awards Night, Serenade Under the Stars, and of course our 8th Grade Promotion. As we wrap up yet another "year like no other" we can reflect on our amazing Sutter families, our strong Sutter community, our fantastically resilient Sutter students, along with our dedicated Sutter staff for making 2021-2022 a very special year. Here's to an amazing Month of May!
Sincerely,
Tarik McFall

A flyer was sent home with all 6th grade students indicating which immunizations are needed. If “none” are needed the student will be automatically entered into the drawing. SOBER GRAD AT FHS
8th Grade Parents: Your student will be moving on to high school next year, and before you know it they'll be graduating and attending Sober Grad. The FHS Sober Grad Committee has several key member positions coming available next year. Sober Grad Night (SGN) is an event which occurs at Lakeside Church immediately following the conclusion of the high school graduation ceremony. Sober Grad Night is successful because we have an engaged group of committee members who are each responsible for their own specific aspect of the event. It is a model which has worked very well for many years. They often recruit parents to be new members from the incoming Freshman class to build stability from year-to-year. The time commitment is approximately 2 hours per month August-April and 4 hours in May of each year, plus attending the duration of the event from 8pm-4am. Please contact Marc Hudock at marchudock@gmail.com if you are interested. See the FHS Sober Grad website for more information.
