Gluten ataxia

Is a disorder that can occur in a genetically predisposed people. This could cause small damage in the small intestine.

stay away from these foods

Wheat, Pastas: raviolis, dumplings, couscous, and gnocchi.
  • Noodles ramen, udon, soba, mein, egg noodles Bread, Pastries, Crackers, Baked Goods Cereal and Granola Breakfast Foods
  • Breading & Coating Mixes.
  • Beneficual foods

    Food that has no gluten in it.

    Commom symptoms

    difficulty breathing, nasal congestion, mouth itchiness, sneezing, dry coughing, tingling sensations in the mouth, passing out, dizziness, throwing up, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, eczema, and hives.

    Effects

    Pain in the abdomen or joints burning in the chest

    bloating, diarrhea, fat in stool, nausea, or flatulence.

    Treatment

    A 7 day diet that eliminates all wheat and barley and rye that has gluten in it.

    Duration

    lasts until treatment is complete.

    7 day food plan

    • For breakfast 1 Orange, medium 1 cup skim milk For lunch 1 Cup Tossed Salad Mix, and a tablespoon Vinegar & Oil Salad Dressing, 1 Cup Skim Milk, and 3 Ounces Chicken Breast, Cooked Without Skin

      Dinner, Bristo beef tenderloin, 1/2 Cup Cooked Brown Rice, 1 Nectarine, medium, and 1/2 Cup Steamed Green Beans
