Stay Connected

The pandemic certainly has been a challenge and continues to be with us, as we have moved from the 2019-2020 school year when the Covid-19 pandemic began, through the 2020-2021 year, to now, the start of the 2021-2022 school year. Three school years----is a definite challenge. Yet, we are all in this together. We will do all we can to keep everyone safe in these unusual times as well as work very hard to help our students learn and progress well! Check out our division's information about the pandemic at https://www.wps.k12.va.us/domain/4720.

Dr. Jason Van Heukelum's letter on 8/4/21 denotes a universal mask requirement for all students and all adults in Winchester Public Schools: https://www.wps.k12.va.us/cms/lib/VA02201702/Centricity/Domain/4/Letter%20to%20Families%2008042021%20-%20Face%20Masks.pdf. Please make sure to wear a mask and. have masks on your child this evening at Meet the Teacher.

The pandemic will create changes and challenges. Yet, we understand and want to provide a wonderful learning opportunity for your child. We wish to partner with you as we help your child thrive this school year.

Please make sure to stay in regular communication with your child's teacher. Children progress well when there is good communication between home and school.
