Mrs. Fortunato’s Message
The building was buzzing this past week with wonderful energy. We have many things to celebrate each week, but this week is a big one! You may know four of our teachers have been accepted into the University of Notre Dame's Fellowship program. Our entire school community will become more STEM proficient as a result. In addition, our Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Smith has earned a scholarship to study the 19th Amendment this summer. We are blessed!
As you know we continue to identify service project opportunities in our community. We will be visiting Grow A Row and a local nursing home. Please let us know if you have any other ideas. Mrs. Jen Beylickjian is our parent contact person. After polling the students and teachers, our Student Council named our new volunteer program, The Knights for Christ. Please help me by encouraging your child to participate in volunteer activities throughout the year. I hope you will join us too. Go Blue Knights!
Holy Week begins on Monday. We are in school Monday-Wednesday. Our 8th graders will present The Living Stations of the Cross on Wednesday afternoon for the school and Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm for families and parishioners. I look forward to being a part of this special prayer.
