February Highlights
Meet Our Newest Staff Member
Ed White has a new library assistant, and she is simply amazing!!! Ms. Rosado is here every morning to support our students and librarian. We are now able to provide our services all day long without having to close the library as well as work on some other, more in depth projects to help make our library better. Stop by in the mornings to meet her!

Soaring Eagles Award Ceremony
Ed White Library hosted the Soaring Eagles Award Ceremony where parents and teachers came together to celebrate Ed White Students. Our wonderful counselors provided breakfast goodies for everyone, and Mr. Uribe congratulated our students and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
Bethel Prevention Presentation
Ed White Library hosted the Bethel Prevention Coalition where our students learned about drug safety during their lunch periods.
Book Fair!!!
We also hosted our first book fair of the 2015-2016 School Year! Our awesome students and staff helped us raise 35% more money this year than we did last year. Our unofficial library photographer, Kirah Allen (top right corner) took all of these amazing pictures to document the event. If you missed it, we are planning on holding another book fair in May to help promote summer reading.
Learning How to Evaluate Online Resources
Our 6th and 7th grade classes learned how to evaluate electronic resources for their media literacy unit. Our students did a fantastic job working together and explaining their thinking!!
