Rainforest
Rainforest Food Web
This is my rainforest food web.
All of these animals come from the rainforest and they depend on other organisms to survive.
The producers serve as a source of food for the herbivores. My producers are Orchids, Variation of seeds, Banana Trees, Bamboo Trees , and Coconut Trees.
These producers are eaten by the primary consumers which are Macaws, Monkeys, Fruit bats, and Grasshoppers. Primary Consumers are organisms that eat the autotrophs. Next is the carnivores they are the secondary consumers they eat off of Primary consumers only. The last level in my food web is the primary consumers they are also carnivores and eat off of other carnivores. The decomposers break down the other organisms.
Mutualism
A relationship when both species benefit from something.
Commensalism
When two organisms in which one benefits and the other derives.
Parasitism
A relationship between two things where one benefits from or lives off of the other.
How humans effect the Rainforest
Humans can effects the Rainforest in a positive way by being kind and gentle with animals they come across. A negative way humans can effect the Rainforest is by throwing trash on the ground, letting their liquids go to waste in the ground and not caring for the animals correctly.
Mushrooms
The Mushrooms in my food web are a decomposer which breaks down the other organisms and gets rid of them.
Grasshoppers
The Grasshoppers in my food web are a primary consumer. They feed off of the autotrophs and the Secondary consumers feed off of them.
Worms
The Worms in my food web act as a decomposer which breaks down other organisms.
