New Caledonia's marine waters harbour the second longest double barrier reef in the world, which reaches a length of 1,500 kilometers or 930 miles. It is located around New Caledonia's largest island, Grande Terra.


You will need to fly to Australia and then ride a boat to the Barrier Reef.

You have to stay on Australia and ride out every time to see the Barrier Reef. The islands are too small to live on.
