Principally Speaking
Today we honored our students through a school awards assembly where students were recognized for work ethic, character, academics, and athletics. It was a wonderful year with so much to celebrate. We had students in FFA, BPA, athletics, academic teams, and more who really represented Danville well in both local and state competitions. Our students grew their minds as evidenced by our fall to spring reading and math NWEA scores which continue to get better and better. I am so proud and blessed to serve your students, this community, and you in the role of principal.
I pray that each student and their families have a fun-filled, safe summer. For those students moving on to the high school, we wish you well. We are confident that you will continue to grow into the fine young men and women that you are meant to be. For those who are coming back to middle school, WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU at the Warrior Welcome Day on Wednesday, July 31st!

2019-2020 Online Registration is Open
Dear Returning DCSC Family,
We are thrilled to be able to offer you the opportunity to register your child for the 2019-2020 school year beginning May 1, 2019! We hope you will find this feature more convenient for you and your family to take care of registration details prior to the end-of-summer rush. Rest assured, even though registration will take place now, we will still hold traditional Back to School events prior to the school year as you have experienced in the past. (Incoming Kindergarten students that are new to the corporation this year are already in the system and do not have to register utilizing this method. Likewise, graduating seniors do not need to close anything out in Infinite Campus.)
This process is used to update and verify all information for our students, and to collect all of the necessary "paperwork" for sports, clubs, etc. At the end of the registration process, there is a page with yes/no buttons for these documents. Now that paper copies are no longer distributed, it is very important that you complete the registration.
In order to register your student for the upcoming school year, you will need a Parent Portal account. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, you will need to create one which will require an activation key. Please contact your child's school for instructions on how to obtain an activation key and directions for setting it up.
If you already have a Parent Portal account, please login to access the online registration. (If you have forgotten your password, please contact your child’s school and they will process requests in the order received.) You will see the Online Registration link in the sidebar. When you click to start your registration, all of your Household, Parent/Guardian and Emergency Contacts should pre-populate for you. You will have the opportunity to make changes if necessary. Walk through the steps to register your students and submit the application.
If you have any questions throughout the process, please reach out to your child’s school using the building level contact information on our website (noting summer office hours) or call the district office at 317-745-2212.
Thank you,
DCSC Administration
