FEAT-Swartz Creek Community Schools
Facility Evaluation and Assessment Team
Overview...
Purpose of a Facilities Study:
The Facilities Evaluation and Assessment Team is a committee that has been established by our Board of Education to look at all of our current buildings and facilities along with what it costs to operate them each year.
They will spend time touring the buildings, looking at budget numbers and reviewing information on student count and student trends. This committee will spend the next 3 months evaluating and assessing the different options available to our District and make a recommendation to our Board in January.
Any school district that has gone through a similar evaluation understands that is an emotionally charged issue for many. It is our goal to make sure that we are being fiscally responsible in the short run, so we can continue to be a strong viable district and provide the best teaching, education and learning opportunities for our students in the years to come.
