Prekindergarten

Kindergarten

It was a big week in Kindergarten! ! They began their Small Guided Reading Groups and finished their Social Studies Unit on Family with beautiful picture frames in their cubbies! They also had time to play at recess and play some basketball in PE. Great job Kindergarten!!!

1st Grade - Art

The 1st grade was germinating pumpkin seeds in Art Class in preparation of the fall season with all the fun art activities that come with it!!!

2nd Grade

The Second Grade started work centers this week! Each student had their own basket which included a skill, a drill, and a frill! After the baskets are cleaned and sanitized, the students will switch to the next one! They did a FANTASTIC job!!!!

6th Grade

The 6th grade students were able to take advantage of the wonderful weather this week in preparation for the test on Mesopotamia. Students were working hard on their review sheet.

7th Grade

7th grade students were preparing skits and game shows this week for Social Studies. Students worked in teams to create the skit and/or questions and in costume and all. Great job 7th grade!

Halloween

Halloween has been a hot topic lately. The answer to the question, "Will SFCS be celebrating Halloween?" is "Yes". We will still be having a Trunk or Treat portion as well. A group of faculty members met this week and the faculty is working on a plan to be able to keep with this fun SFCS tradition while keeping with our current safety guidelines. More information will be coming so keep an eye out for it.

School Pictures Have Been Scheduled!!!

Mass uniform is required for school pictures.

Class pictures will be taken at a later date which has yet to be determined.

Extended Care Projection - October

Below is the October Projection Form for Extended Care. Remember that currently we are not accepting "Drop Ins" for Extended Care and we need at minimum a notice of 2 school days if you would like your child(ren) to attend.

School Family Mass

Thank you to all the students that wore their Mass uniform to mass last weekend! Also thank you to all the parents that encouraged them to do so. It was so nice to see many of our families at mass this past weekend!

Knights of Columbus - "Keep Christ in Christmas" Initiative

The Knights of Columbus will be selling faith-based Christmas cards as part of the Knight's "Keep Christ in Christmas" initiative. You can purchase these cards in the following ways:

Pregnancy Center of the Low Country

The Pregnancy Center of the Low Country would like to thank all of our parishioners for their generous donations of food and personal care items.


Disaster Relief Fund

Finally, our parish collected $9,488 for the Disaster Relief Fund. Thank you all for your generous donations to those victims affected by Hurricanes and Wildfires.
