SPECIAL EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION
School Board makes special recognition to Members of our MOT Department
So as not to bore with the power outage, we will tell you that when the power was shut-off in Soledad on October 26th, the district had to take immediate action so as not to lose all our food to feed students next Monday. Eric Rodriguez, Maintenance Supervisor, immediately got on the phone and called his staff to come help move all the food from all the schools' cafeterias to large refrigerated trailers to one site. They worked through the weekend and went above and beyond. They left their families to come help out our students. Beth Wilson, CBO along with Vice-President, Javier Galvan, presented them with a Certificate of Recognition and a Starbuck's Card. Recognized were:
Alfredo Valdez
Christian Ibarra
Oscar Martinez
Reynaldo Alcantar
Edgar Hernandez
Jonathan Sanchez
Joaquin Higuera
Daniel Trujillo
Veronica Brown
Troy Correa
Manuel Benabides
Marco Hernandez
Eric Rodriguez
Christian Estrada
The Board of Trustees, Mr. Vanoli, Superintendent and the rest of the staff at SUSD thank you for going above and beyond for... Every Student...Every Day!!!

The Culinary students prepared a the meals for last night's meeting and the floristry class the decorations. They did a marvelous job. Some of our students addressed the group of Board Member, Superintendents, Principals, and CTE Coordinators. Each district in the JPA take turns in hosting the meetings.
