Math
Students will work on any Essential Learning Outcomes (ELO) using something called Choice Boards. They will need to complete one ELO each week. Below is the link to the ELO's (this will also be placed in Google Classroom). Once they click on an ELO, it will take them to the Choice Board they should be working on. A reflection tool will be assigned in Google Classroom for them to fill out. Please email us if you have any questions!

PHYSICAL SCIENCE
Each week, the plan is to have a different "theme" that will review previous material that we have learned this year. Each week there were be an online assignment to review the information along with a hands-on activity to complete at home.
For the week of April 6th the theme is Newton's Laws of Motion, specifically the 1st and 2nd laws of motion. The weeks online assignments was given through a website called Legends of Learning. This website gives students the opportunity to review previous material from this year in a fun way by playing games and answering questions. The hands-on activity was a build activity in which student built a device to keep an egg safe when it is dropped from the top of the door frame. Students have until Monday, April 13 to complete the build activity.
For the week of April 13-17 the theme will be chemical and physical reactions. This weeks online assignment will again be from the Legends of Learning website. The hands-on activity will involve taking pictures of each type of reaction. More information will be sent to students next Monday regarding this activity.

Hey FMS family! The run down is this - review, reinforce and build relationships. Both social studies teachers have sent out work via Google Classroom that your students should be doing. This work ranges from review, enrichment, engagement of their research/critical thinking skills and fun. Please check in with us if you need anything, and please report any CB issues to the form sent out by administration.
Stay safe, wash your hands, don't touch your face, and practice social distancing. Remember to be positive and count the many good things you have during this uncertain time in our nations history.
