Water Usage

The average person will need 5 liters of water to drink daily, to survive in a moderate climate with little activity. An average of each person uses about 80-100 gallons of water per day, but the average American uses 100 to 175 gallons of water per day. We use around 4 trillion cubic meters of fresh water a year. Every day, you cost 21%of water by washing machine, which is 25-30 gallons of water.21% water by shower, which is 17.2 gallons. And you coast 3% of dish washing. Which is 6 gallons of water. In California, the average of water that per person use per day is 50 gallons. And people use 16.8% for shower, 26.7% for toilet, 15.7% for faucet, 13.7% for leaks, 21.7 % for clothes washer, and 5.3% for other.

Water Distribution

97% of our water is salt water,But we can't drink that unless we filter it.Most of our usable water comes from the underground, right now we only have about 2% of the water that is fresh is left.Usable water also comes from rivers and lakes.

Water Conservation

  1. Should use water if they really need it.
  2. Only should take showers, not baths.
  3. Drink less water bottles.
  4. Only 2% of fresh water is left, the rest of it is salt water, which we cannot eat
  5. We use 80-100 gallons of water a day.

Overview of our Smore

Did you know that almost all Americans use at least 80-100 of gallons a day! I think a way to fix that is to take less showers, don't take baths, drink less water, and turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth. Another thing that you should not do is to not leave the sink on or you're wasting all the water that American has. We also have to save all the fresh water because when you leave the shower, or the sink on your wasting all the little a out of water that we have on EARTH!
