York Avenue Family Newsletter - 11/14/21
Message from Mrs. Richardson
Dear York Avenue Families,
H&S delivered York Avenue t-shirts to students and staff today. I hope you love them as much as we do! It was so fun to see the smiles and excitement on students' faces as they received them. Thank you H&S for your generosity! Please have your child wear them on Fridays for YA Spirit Days!
Yesterday was World Kindness Day - a day dedicated to making kindness the norm around the world. The purpose of World Kindness Day is “to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness, which binds us.” Here is a kind acts bingo game you can use with your children to spread kindness with small gestures.
Hope you're having a great weekend!
A few reminders:
- Tuesday, November 16 - H&S Virtual Meeting 6:30, Google Meet Link
- Friday, November 19 - YA Spirit Day, wear your new t-shirts
Warmly,
Dipa Richardson
