Kenwood families are invited to help harvest pumpkins on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as a fun family get-together at the Young Walser Farm in Dennison. Bob and Julie grow food on their farm for the sole purpose of donating fresh foods to local food shelves, and generously allow Kenwood School space for our pumpkins. Bring your own picnic lunch, and enjoy some fresh air and community, harvesting, cleaning, and transporting pumpkins back to Minneapolis. Transportation is not provided.

Meet Our Kenwood Staff 👋
Madeline Kronmiller (4th Grade Teacher)
I am Madeline Kronmiller (she/her), students know me as Ms. Kronmiller. This is my first-year teaching at Kenwood, and I am thrilled to be a part of this school community.
I am passionate about reading, spending time outside, and growing/cooking tasty food.
I am from Saint Paul, Minnesota and attended Saint Paul public schools K-12. I did some time traveling after high school, spending time in South Africa, Central America, and on the west coast of the United States. In 2011 I moved to Colorado to finish my undergraduate degree. I spent 8 years in the mountains working as a farmer/gardener and learning about the outdoors. I moved back to Minnesota in 2019 to be closer to my family and attend graduate school. My undergraduate degree in environmental science is from Naropa University (Boulder, CO). My master's degree in teaching is from Augsburg University (Minneapolis, MN).
I am thrilled to continue to get to know our Kenwood community and to learn and grow together!
