Field Day

All you really need to know you learned at field day. During field day, students were seen collaborating, communicating, and strategizing in a fun field day games. This years Field Day theme was NCAA COLLEGES!! For this event students trekked to the nearby football field for tug-of-war, egg toss, and races. This years winners were:


8th Grade

Overall Winners:

1st Place - Perez- 150 point

2nd Place - Brault/Cooper -65 points

3rd Place - Farley -60 points


7th Grade

Overall Winners:

1st Place - Martin- 90 points

2nd Place - Litaker/Schlatzca - 75 points

3rd Place - Trabold - 70 points


6th Grade

Overall Winners:

1st Place - Baer (for the fifth time in a row) - 140 points

2nd Place - Bradley - 90 points

3rd Place - Thompson - 70 points

Curriculum Night

April 21, 2016, East Lee Middle School celebrated a night of learning in the schools 2nd annual Curriculum Night. Students had an opportunity to participate in STEM related games, musical petting zoo, art exhibit, book fair and science fair. There were two AIG parent meetings for rising 6th graders to help parents and students understand the AIG process at the Middle School level. Middle schoolers and rising 6th graders were also able to participate in AVID interviews. East Lee faulty would like to invite everyone that attended and helped make this night a success.

6th Grade Academy Coming Soon

The Sixth Grade Leadership Academy is a transition program for rising 6th grade students. The SGLA provides students with the opportunity to develop relationships and skills needed as they transition to middle school. Students usually work on to the following activities: organization, team building, AVID, character traits, leadership, technology, art, and much more! It is a wonderful chance for students to meet their peers and learn skills that will prepare them for the challenges of middle school. The dates for SGLA are August 8-12 and will be from 8:00-11:30. Students are provided with a snack but not lunch. All rising 6th graders will have the opportunity to attend academy. This is a great opportunity for students and staff!
