Harpool Herald Newsletter
#MoveTheHerd
Happy summer break to our students! We had a great last week of school! My favorite part was a new tradition of an 8th grade ceremony followed by a clap out. As a staff, we enjoyed getting to celebrate our 8th grade students.
8th grade parents--I truly hope your child has made some great memories at HMS. Middle school can be so difficult...but we do hope they are leaving us with some positive take-aways.
7th grade parents-Your children will be the leaders of the school next year. I am looking forward to watching them grow into that role.
6th grade parents-How do we have a 7th grader now?!?! Overall this group seems to have settled into HMS fairly well. I can't wait for them to dive into 7th grade and begin leaving their mark on Harpool.
I'll begin weekly communication again towards the end of July. I truly hope you and your family have a wonderful couple of months!!!
Sincerely,
Colleen Grindle

Girls Athletics!
You may start filling out the RankOne forms to be compliant for athletics (volleyball, cross country, basketball and track) for the 2023-2024 school year. This will need to be completed EVERY year that your student is in Athletics.
Here is the link: https://www.rankonesport.com/content/
Physicals are good for 2 years. If you were in 7th grade athletics, your physical will carry over for your 8th grade year, but the Rank One forms must still be completed.
Students will not be permitted to stay in Athletics if the Rank One documents are not completed by August 18th.
Thank you,
