Tickets
ADMISSION IS BY TICKET ONLY-All attendees require a ticket this includes infants.
Students will pick up tickets on Tuesday, May 31 after the Senior Rally. Students must attend the rally to get their tickets. Tickets guarantee admission to the ceremony, but not necessarily a seat.
Graduation will be live streamed. We encourage those who cannot be in the sun and heat for long periods of time (young children and the elderly) to watch the live stream.
Gates open at 4:00 pm. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 2nd. The ceremony lasts about 2 hours and temperatures can be hot that time of year. We strongly discourage families bringing infants and young children. Strollers will not be allowed. If you do bring infants and young children, they also require a ticket for admission.
Seniors will receive six (6) complimentary tickets and may purchase two (2) additional tickets while supplies last. Seniors may purchase those two (2) additional tickets after the graduation rehearsal only. CASH ONLY = $10 per ticket. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will not be allowed to save seats. Arrive early for the best seating.
Important Commencement Reminders
Seniors will not be allowed to bring cell phones, cameras, keys, balloons, flowers, leis or other loose items on the field during the commencement ceremony. It’s best to leave these items in your car or with your parents prior to reporting to the gym.
Seniors may not alter/decorate cap or gown.
Balloons and umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium during the ceremony because they have a tendency to block the vision of other guests. All umbrellas brought into the stadium must be lowered before the start of the ceremony.

Stadium opens at 4:00 pm for families. Guest may begin lining up at 3pm.

SVUSD ANNUAL SENIOR EXIT SURVEY PLEASE COMPLETE NOW
Seniors, no matter your post high school path - we are proud you are a Highlander. Please make sure you fill out your Senior Exit Survey now.
The Senior Survey provides Royal High School with important information about our graduates. Each year graduating seniors complete this step. (And if you are college-bound, the survey helps us know where to send your final transcripts to the university you plan to attend.)
The Senior Exit Survey is now live in Naviance. It has been assigned as a Naviance "Task" to all 12th graders. Students will have until May 27th to complete.
Students can access the survey in their Naviance accounts under:
ABOUT ME > SURVEYS FROM MY SCHOOL>SIMI VALLEY UNIFIED EXIT SURVEY (or under "planner>tasks>tasks assigned to me").
For questions, speak to your counselor.
Grad Bash--SOLD OUT
The 2020 Senior Grad Bash will be held at Universal Studios Hollywood (100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City) on Friday, May 27th running from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am.
The day of the event, Seniors need to park in the East parking lot and report to the Gym by 2:15 pm to go through security. Grad Bash buses will load and leave at 3:00 pm that day (a security guard will be on duty all night to supervise cars).
Students must bring their Student ID cards. All seniors will report to the gym and go through a preliminary search before loading the buses to make sure clothing is appropriate and that they are not bringing any items that are not allowed at Universal Studios (see Grad Bash Rules below). Once students go through the search, they may not return to their cars.
At the end of Grad Bash students must report to the buses by 2:00 am. They will return to Royal at approximately 3:00 am (dependent on traffic).
