Week of January 11th-15th, 2016

No PACE classes the week of January 18th-22nd!!

Dear PACE Parents,

Today was our final day to study Ancient Egypt. We reviewed basic daily life habits, food and table manners. Next, we wore our Egyptian collar necklaces and snake headbands and sat down to a “feast” of Egyptian goodies (except for the sand in the food!). I hope the students enjoyed learning about this fabulous culture. I know I enjoyed planning and teaching the lessons! What better way to prepare kids for the future than by learning about the past!

We briefly talked about our upcoming research projects. Some of the classes were able to put together their research folders.

Since I will be having PACE Parent Conferences next week, we will not be having PACE classes. If you haven’t signed up for a conference time or email, please let me know. I always enjoy visiting with parents!

Thank you for supporting our PACE program!
