1st Grade Gifted
First grade gifted students developed fluency by helping the itsy bitsy spider get up the water spout in many creative ways. Did you know the spider has a butterfly friend who flew him up the spout? One spider made a mountain of snow to climb, and another borrowed a grappling hook from his friend BATMAN!

5th Grade Gifted
Fifth graders will be starting research skills soon. At home, you can help prepare for this by helping your child to identify topics of interest. The best subjects for research projects are ones in which a student is interested, but wants to learn more about. Remember, it can be hard to find age-appropriate research resources for every topic. A trip to the public library is always a great idea!
