Happy New Year from your Support Staff!
At Red Hill we are Safe, Responsible and Respectful everywhere we go.
Safe means we follow the rules, sit at our assigned table to allow for more social distance, use a mask whenever a game doesn't allow for 6 feet between players, and only eat the food from our own home. (There is no sharing of food this year at Red Hill for any grade.)
Responsible looks like cleaning up our own mess, putting away any equipment that was borrowed and using our words to encourage and build up our classmates.
Respect is shown first to God by treating all people with kindness, taking the time to listen to everyone's point of view, knowing that the staff is looking out for your best interest and asking questions whenever you are unsure of what to do.
Please let me and your child's teacher know if you ever have questions or concerns - our goal is for every child to have fun, be safe and build strong bodies and strong friendships on the playground.
Miss Caroline's Top 10 Nutrition Break Ideas -
At school it is great to send food that will help your child learn and grow - here are some of my favorites.
(Please note - sweet treats are always best eaten at home!)
(1) Berries - great brain food and fun to eat
(2) Cuties - keep that vitamin C coming
(3) Whole grain crackers and cheese - fiber plus protein
(4) Carrot sticks and your favorite dip - we all need more veggies!
(5) Whole wheat tortilla and cheese for a tasty quesadilla
(6) Baked tortilla chips and guacamole - crunchy and good
(7) Baked potato or sweet potatoes wedges - better than fries and so tasty
(8) Celery sticks with almond butter and raisins for Ants on a Log
(9) Mini multigrain bagel and cream cheese
(10) Pretzel sticks and cheese cubes for a fun construction project and tasty snack
And the list could go on and on of healthy, kid-friendly foods that everyone can feel good about! Please let me know if you need more ideas or have any questions.
Please remember - with all of these - water, water and more water! Let's keep our kids healthy and well fed at school in 2021!

If you do not already have a church home, we invite you to join us.
Family Worship is on the first Sunday of the month, at which time whole families are invited to worship together during our 10 am Contemporary Worship Service in the Sanctuary.
