Week 14: November 15th - November 19th
Dear Families,
We hope you had a wonderful weekend!
We do not have school next week (11/22-11/26). Enjoy time with family and friends!
We will have a pajama day this Friday. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable pajamas to school.
If you have not already, feel free to explore the presentation from AISD middle schools. You can access the slides HERE.
This week Mr. Linnell's homeroom will go to the library with Mrs. Saenz and Ms. Grotte's class will have a counseling lesson with Ms. Devins.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you ever have any questions or concerns:
Sincerely,
Ms. Grotte and Mr. Linnell
BOOK FAIR
BOOKS BRING US TOGETHER!
This fall we’re focusing on favorite series and characters, reconnecting with friends, and the unique power of books to bring us together!
Books make connections in all kinds of relationships – stories tie us together where-ever we are. Books inspire us to inspire each other. They motivate us to jump out of our seats to meet our favorite characters as they leap off the page toward us. They give us reason to support each other, to rally together as we build a foundation for a new generation of readers. Books are a window into exciting times ahead and we can’t wait to share them with you.
Let’s turn a new page together!
Our Jungle Book Fair is November 15th-19th in person, on campus!
Book Fair will be open to students ALL day November 15th -18th. And until 12 p.m. on November 19th
Student preview days will be November 8th-12th.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, our book fair will solely run through an E-Wallet for contactless payment.
Give your child a safe, cashless way to shop the Book Fair. This digital payment option can be used at the in-school Book Fair or online at the Virtual Book Fair, where you'll discover an expanded selection of over 5,000 products. Plus, every purchase benefits our school! Visit FAQs to learn more.
How It Works
- Create an account for each child
- Add funds...
- ...or invite family and friends to contribute
- Shop the Book Fair
- Spend unused funds online or fund an eWallet for your next Fair
After the Fair, remaining eWallet funds are not returned to a credit card but instead, become a gift card balance that can be used online with Scholastic or to fund an eWallet for a future Book Fair. Be sure to sign in with the same email used to create the eWallet.
