St. Patrick Catholic School
Principal's Weekly Newsletter
I have enjoyed visiting our students at Clover Patch and seeing them eager to learn and play. They are receiving high quality instruction in such a loving, faith-filled environment.
Our kindergartners have had a wonderful first week. I know they will enjoy coming together with the older students next week at our first Monday Morning Prayer.
August 26, 2022
Our students here at St. Patrick have many great experiences available to them. One of the best things about a Catholic education is the opportunity our K-Gr 8 students have to attend Mass as a school. Each of our homeroom teachers and their students will be in charge of planning Masses throughout the school year. The ability to plan and attend Mass helps our students develop an appreciation and deeper understanding of what it means to be a Catholic.
Our first School Mass will be Wednesday, September 7, at 8:30 AM. School Masses are an excellent way for school and church communities to celebrate our Catholic faith together. As always, parents, grandparents, parishioners, and community members are welcome to attend our school Masses. All of our School Masses will be livestreamed on our Facebook page.
Our second Mass of the year will be our Grandparents and Special Friends Mass on Friday, September 23, at 8:30 AM. We are hopeful that many of our students will have their grandparents or special friends in attendance. Please complete the Google Form below to give us their addresses for the invitations.
Jon Wiebers
Principal
We continue to go green and send home fewer paper forms. Thank you for using the links below and reading this newsletter every week.
Don't forget we order Scrip on Monday.
Faith
Jobs such as classroom prayer leader help us begin and end our days with prayer.
Excellence
Mr. Wiebers visited all of our grade levels this week to get to know students and share his expectations for the year. Knowing what is expected helps put our students on the right path to a successful year.
Service
Thank you to all of the parents who pitch in to make our school the greatest. The BooHoo WooHoo breakfast, uniform exchange, and helping with the Football Bash are just a few of the ways you've already made a difference this year.
Grandparents and Special Friends Mass on Sept. 23
Our annual tradition is back! We are excited to welcome our grandparents and special friends to Mass and a visit to our classrooms. Invitations will go out in the mail soon. Please input the addresses for your family's grandparents or special friends here: ENTER ADDDRESSES FOR INVITATONS Even if they can't make it they will know they were invited and we'll share an easy way to watch the livestream.
School T-Shirts
Click here to indicate sizes for K-8 students. There is no charge for these shirts! Shirts are 50/50 blend. Size chart (mens/unisex and youth sizes offered)
When we have our design finalized, we will let you know how to order shirts for other family members.
Please Turn in Tickets You've Sold
Thanks for your help in getting new surfacing for our playground!
If you have money and tickets you have sold, please turn them in to the office this week so we can see how we are doing. Keep the rest or request more to sell! Tickets must be in by September 8 to be eligible for week 1 prizes. Selling tickets after Mass is an easy way to help. Sign up
Kindergarten and preschool families who would like to purchase or sell tickets may email the office and we will send them home with your child.
