A Message from Mrs. Thorson

Dear Parker Whitney Families -

It always amazes me how quickly a school year goes by. As we reflect on the year gone by, it is a time to celebrate the growth and development of our children.

This year is bittersweet for me personally as I put a close to this part of my professonal journey. I have had the prvilege and joy to be a part of the Rocklin Unified School District for the past 20 years. Every class of students, every opportunity to lead and each school site I have called home will hold a special place in my heart and has shaped me to be the person I am.

Parker Whitney Elementary has been a wonderful experience to complete this chapter in my story, and has prepared me for what lies next for me.

Thank you for being a part of my world, my life and my heart. I am forever grateful for the past three years, and I know that it has made me a better educator and a stronger person in all that I do.

With grace -

Principal Melody Thorson
