The most remembered thing Amhose did was the reunification of Egypt.
Building Projects
Ahmose didn't have many building projects because most of his focus was on the reuniting of Egypt. He did have two temples built along the Nile and a small pyramid. He also reopened the limestone quarries in Tura.
Military Expiditions
Ahmose had many military expeditions trying to unify Egypt. He lead a six year siege on a Hyksos fortress in Sharuhen. He was successful in regaining Egyptian control in Egypt and defeating the Hyksos.
Other Achievments
He didn't have many other accomplishments in his life. He was the first Pharoh to bring horses into Egypt. One other achievement of Ahmose was that he did not focus on a central government and let smaller cities govern themselves.
Downfall
Ahmose died in 1526 BC of old age, and was succeeded by his son Amenhotep who ruled for twenty years.
