Let's Collaborate to Beat Summer Slide
Kids who don't read over the summer come back to school in September with a serious academic disadvantage. To keep them reading over the summer, the BNS/BCS Library has created a rich Summer Reading site that is accessible directly from the BCS Homepage. Check it out with your Crews! It highlights amazing audiobook and ebook sites that offer FREE books to kids all summer. It also provides kids and parents with suggested reading lists, information about the public library, articles about the importance of summer reading, and a list of free activities happening around the city. Teachers -- sign up for Open eBooks to catch up on what's cool in the world of YA literature. Teen Lit makes great beach reading!
