Our Week in Antarctica
We spent our entire week researching in Antarctica. I hope you took a moment to enjoy the journals the students created based on their research. We will move on to Asia next month. You will notice that division and multiplication have been popular works among our students this week. Many first and second year students are motivated to memorize their multiplication facts, mainly due to the amazing things their older peers have shown them during our work period. Language has been filled with poetry, creative writing, and research. It is amazing to see each child shine uniquely through their writing. When given the opportunity they have proven to an endless amount of creativity.
