Hamilton Avenue School Update

Diane Chiappetta Fox, Interim Principal

September 16, 2022

Dear Hamilton Avenue Parents and Students,

Phew! We made it through the first full week of school!! This photo was taken today. I was in Ms. Angotto's 4th-grade class and the students helped me lead the school in the Pledge!

This week, Mr. Lane, Hamilton Avenue's Media Special, discussed with students the "Responsible Use Expectations for Digital Devices". Please review it and we ask that you keep this in mind when discussing device usage with your children. The Greenwich Media Department paired the expectations with our school norms! Thanks for your support.

Please take a moment to thoroughly read this Smore. There is quite a bit of useful information this week.

I have been very pleased with the smooth operation of arrival and dismissal! Thanks for your support while we work to make arrival and dismissal both safe and convenient. See below for a Husky Shout Out to the arrival and dismissal teams!

I am looking forward to continuing to work with the great families and staff at Hamilton Avenue School. Next week, as we bid farewell to summer and usher in fall, we have the first PTA meeting at 7:00 on Tuesday night. Additionally, we have our second fire drill, CCI homework club begins, and our first faculty committee meetings on Wednesday after school.

Thanks for your continued support, have a restful weekend.
