I Love Fall and I am Thankful!
Who else loves the fall season? I love the weather, the colors and the smells. Pumpkin pie and apple cider are a great reason to love the season. Our Preschool has taken a hit in attendance as we have graduated children from the nursery/toddler area into the preschool. If you currently are not helping out in our children's ministry you might consider lending a hand here.
I am thankful for every child I get to interact with. I love them all. I am thankful for a Preschool ministry that is bursting at the seems! I am thankful that we need to figure out a way to address this wonderful issue. I am thankful for parents who bring their children to church. I am thankful for a Savior who makes everything we do possible. I am thankful that my sins are nailed on the cross as I could not bear the weight of them! I am thankful for grandchildren who fill my heart and exhaust my body. I am thankful for a wife who has been there for 40 years and I love more than ever!
What are you thankful for this season?

November is traditionally the month where we thank God for our blessings. In the Preschool area, we aren’t just going to thank God – we are going to PRAISE God for the many blessings He gives us! Watch for lessons on Praising God for…family, stuff, being strong, and loving us!

In November we will look at the 2nd and 3rd commandments.
Here are our 6 new commandment questions.
What is the 2nd commandment? You shall not make for yourself an idol, nor bow down to it or worship it.
How is the 2nd commandment different from the first commandment? Because you are making a decision to put something ahead of God to worship.
What is the 3rd Commandment? You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
What is a common way people look at breaking the 3rd commandment? You should not use God’s name as a bad word.
What is a different way to look at breaking the 3rd commandment? When you say you are a Christian and then don’t act like one.
Why do the 10 commandments matter?
They show us we need a savior.
