Stay Connected
NYC!
April 4-6, 30 NHS students (plus Mrs. Flock, Mrs. Bonnell, and Miss. Howard) embarked on a field trip to The Big Apple! It was a jam-packed 3 day, 2 night trip of all things Broadway. The trip included a Broadway Classroom Masterclass (we learned music and choreography from The Prom), two Broadway shows (The Prom and Come From Away), a tour of Lincoln Center, a visit to Top of the Rock, and lots of fun along the way. Check out our social media pages to see all the photos from the trip.
Thank you family and friends who helped support this opportunity for your students! There's nothing like seeing theatre in NYC! :)

3rd Annual Student Directed One Act!
The production committee met in advance to complete all of the planning - rehearsals, tech elements, etc. We had a student director, props master, lighting designer, sound designer, costumer, set designer, hair and makeup designer, front of house manager, choreographer...and like all of our NHS shows the cast and crew was 100% students. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to step into leadership roles or learn a new skill. Additionally, we had some "new to NHS Drama Club" students join us! A beneficial event for the students and the club!

Spotlight on...The Class of 2019!
Whether you are leaving with one or eleven productions added to your resume from your years at NHS, please know that each one of you made a lasting impact on the drama program. You contributed your time, artwork, dedication, laughter, sweat, and tears (it is drama after all!) to every production.
My hope is that your involvement with the drama club was positive, eye opening, and fun. My wish is that each of you will realize the lessons learned on and off stage will serve you in whatever path life takes you on next. Please do not be a stranger. Come back and visit us.
Here's to your next Act: work, college, military...life...Break A Leg. <3
