Welcome Back!
We hope our Ike families had a wonderful spring break and were able to relax and spend time with loved ones.
As we head back to school, please remember the following:
- All in-person families must continue to complete our health screener each morning.
- If anybody in your household has tested positive for Covid-19, or if your child has been exposed to Covid-19, please keep your child home and contact our school office for a tentative return to school date. This information will help mitigate the spread and keep our Eisenhower community healthy.
- If your child has any symptoms of illness, as mild as they may be, plan to keep them home until they are symptom free for 24+ hours (without medication/ fever reducers) or they have a negative Covid test/ doctor's note clearing them to return to school
ARE YOU RETURNING TO EISENHOWER IN THE FALL?
We are beginning to plan for the 2021-2022 school year at this time. It would be extremely helpful for us to know whether or not your child will be returning to Fraser in September. We are asking each family to help us with this process by completing the form below. Please take a moment to fill it out. Please complete ONE FORM per child.
We greatly appreciate your assistance planning for next school year!
Picture Retake Day
For the convenience of our virtual families, this retake day has been scheduled to coincide with our Virtual Materials Pick-Up. Virtual learners may have their photos taken during their materials pick-up time during the before mentioned times. No appointment needed!
MDHHS QUARANTINE UPDATES
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has extended the time people must quarantine after COVID-19 exposure to 14 days "due to increasing case rate and variant spread." Direct contacts must quarantine at home and monitor themselves for symptoms after exposure to an infected individual.
Click here to read the details from the MDHHS.
(Page 13 of the document refers to the changes in quarantining guidelines for direct contacts.)
UPDATED: Covid-19 Quarantine Recommendations for ALL Travel
UPDATED 4/11: If your family has traveled internationally or domestically, please note that a 7-day quarantine AND a negative COVID test are recommended before a student may return to school. (Or the student must quarantine for a full 10 days if you choose not to get them tested.) This is per CDC guidelines: CDC’s updated travel guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions: Covid-19 Quarantines
When positive student or staff cases are reported to us, we often have to quarantine members of our Eagles Community. When this occurs, we always get many questions regarding how we determine who gets quarantined and what the process is. I wanted to take a moment to answer some of those frequently asked questions below to make sure all of our families are on the same page. Please keep in mind that the Macomb County Health Department directs all of our protocols. As of April 8th, we will follow the 14 day quarantine set up by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
