11 Principles of Character Education
Young people are often described as the leaders of tomorrow and leadership education is justified as preparation for future roles of responsibility. However, this approach neglects the role of young people as leaders today.
As members of the school community, students can play an important and unique role in determining the shape of character education initiatives.
Just as all character education leaders have a responsibility to be moral role models for the school community, student leaders can and should model good character.
