Week of September 13th

SGMS Arrival and Dismissal

Thank you so much for working hard on arriving and picking up on time. Our tardies were less this past week and that is due to your diligence and commitment in getting your students to school on time. As shared last week students should not exit cars or buses until staff are on duty and release students to enter the building at 8 am. Our school day is 8:20 am to 3:20 pm. Please ensure your child arrives on time to minimize disruptions in the classroom and to set up each student for success. Students are to wear a mask and One card each day. Students are scanning on and off buses and will be scanning upon entry into the building in the near future. We appreciate your patience for the new students who are awaiting their One cards. Please help your child to develop a routine for having the mask and one card on as they enter each day.

As SGMS Knights we are creating a Culture of Excellence. Students have been reviewing what each letter in EXCEL signifies and we are looking for students to apply this to their daily school routines. Thank you to the students who are showcasing these character traits each day. We will be recognizing these leaders by team on the morning show. Please discuss with your child what these mean and how to show these in their school day.
