What is Intellectual Property?
Intellectual Property or IP, is the term to describe someone's creative thought. There are many forms of intellectual property such as music, art, literature, inventions, discovers, words/phases and much more. Anything created by someone would be considered their intellectual property and it's up to their discretion how it's used and shared.
Tips & Guidelines for Citing Intellectual Works
- Assume that everything will need to be cited.

When reviewing sources, get the full reference information immediately, rather than waiting until you write your paper.

Be sure to take accurate notes, including quotation marks around any exact quotes and the page numbers for those quotes.
- Find out ahead of time which citation style you need to use.
