These can also be used to schedule conferences as needed.

Dismissal Procedures

Carpool Numbers

Our flier and video below share more information about our dismissal process.

For afternoon dismissal, our school uses a number system. Families will keep their numbers for the entire time they stay at Glenwood. When new siblings join our community you will simply communicate this to our staff and they will be added to our database. Likewise, if you regularly carpool with a family on a consistent basis, you may include other students. It is essential to ensure you share the number with guardians who may pick up your student as this will help maintain the traffic flow.

Visit one of our staff tables at Meet the Teacher to receive a number or to get a new copy of your number.

Afterschool Programs

Students at Glenwood typically attend a variety of afterschool programs across Chapel Hill. Please assist our staff by communicating which programs your student will be attending as well as which days of the week they will attend. Consistency in schedule and early communication about changes increases success in delivering students to the appropriate locations.
