FROM THE PRINCIPAL...TONY WHITE
Our Eagles are a constant source of joy for us here. It is truly special to see children learn something for the first time and carry it out to mastery. Perhaps even more special, though, is seeing potentially lifelong friendships start right here at Norton Creek. Our students are so kind and thoughtful, genuinely looking out for one another's best interests. If the world were as thoughtful as Norton Creek's Eagles, the world would be a much kinder place for everyone. It is such a treat and a true privilege to be with all 442 of these amazing young people.
Our Norton Creek community of families is so incredibly supportive. As a parent, I appreciate the trust you put in us each day you send us your children. That trust you gives us has led to kindness after kindness you have shown us. Your thoughtful messages to teachers, praise for our school, and positive presence at Norton Creek really adds to our culture and climate. We certainly enjoy our partnership with each of you and building our relationship each and everyday.
The staff at Norton Creek is second to none. Passionate about learning and teaching and compassionate towards our Eagles, families, and one another, our staff is another deep source of gratitude for me. The kind of person you are is the kind of educator you are, and Norton Creek is blessed to have the finest collection of people you'll find.
Yesterday was National School Support Staff Day, and I want to pass along my thanks to every teacher assistant, nurse, administrative assistant, and LRC assistant on our crew. We could not provide any of the services we do for our Eagles without you. Thank you for making Norton Creek who we are!
To all who celebrate, I wish you the Happiest Thanksgiving. Enjoy next week with your favorite people on the planet!

BIG HEARTS OF FOX VALLEY jennifer.zitella@yahoo.com
Thank you thank you thank you to the Norton Creek families (and friends and neighbors) who sponsored and donated to fulfill Christmas wishes of 10 children in D303 this year! The donations included winter gear, clothes, diapers, games and toys. We know the families will be filled with joy (and relief) when they open their gifts! You are so appreciated!
A note from our AVIC chair, Kelly Charlson
We are excited that AVIC is finally back (Art Volunteer in the Classroom)
We are looking for 2-3 parents for each classroom to volunteer their time to get into the classroom with the kiddos and talk about a work of art followed by a fun activity. This is something we've done monthly in the past, the volunteers can work together or split the months between them. There will be an informational meeting to give you all the details to get you started. Please sign-up through the Membership Toolkit.
If you have any questions at all, please email kellyrognes@hotmail.com
Thank you Eagle Parents!!
The PTO loved hosting another in-person meeting last week. If you missed it or would like a recap of the meeting, please see our November meeting minutes! We hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday next week!
