Skin cancer is when unusually skin cells grow uncontrollably. Skin cancer can form on any parts of the body that received too much UV rays from the sun or tanning beds.

skin cancer is very common because it is very easily to get due to the fact that UV rays sre basically everywhere
Even if it is a cloudy day UV rays can still go through windows and clouds causing people to get skin cancer and a cloudy can have just as much harm to your skin as a sunny day would.
If you apply sunscreen in the morning and go out into the sun in the afternoon than you will not be protected, sunscreen only protects you for a short time period
In 2015 there was a prediction that about 9,940 people will die of melanoma which is a type of skin cancer

If you have skin cancer the first thing you should do is set up an appointment to see a dermotaligst, they can tell you what you need to do in order to stop your skin cancer from spreading.
Ask your doctor to do a full body exam to make sure that you any mole or freckle you have is skin cancer.
self-examinations are very important and should be done often so you can spot any changes in your skin.
Make sure you wear SPF 15 sunscreen and dont wear any sunscreen that is 30 or higher
Apply sunscreen often if you know you will be out in the sun alot because sunscreen will only protect you for a short period of time.
