The Mission of Woods Lake Elementary: A Magnet Center for the Arts, is a place where academics and the arts (academic excellence, respect, taking responsibility, and safety) create opportunities for learning in a safe and collaborative environment.

We are building our yearbook with your help this year! We need pictures of your children from the shoulders up. Teachers are distributing flyers on how to take and send in these portraits, and this information can also be found on the Woods Lake Elementary website and weekly S'more update. We are now in, Family February!

• Every February, we welcome loved ones of KKIT students to become honorary members of the orchestra! You don't have to have previously playing experience or an instrument at home to join. We will provide instruments and introductory lessons so you and your student can prepare together for a special virtual performance on March 4.

• We will also be holding a virtual family board game night and picture scavenger hunts throughout the month for families.
