The first round of acceptance letters were sent out on Monday, February 24, and we are so excited to offer acceptance to the newest members of the Class of 2024. We look forward to receiving your registration form!
If you didn't receive an acceptance letter, please check in with the MKCHS Admissions Director to see where your student falls in the admissions process. There's a good chance that your student's records haven't been sent over to the MKCHS Admissions Office. The application cannot be processed until the student's current school has returned all records to MKCHS.
It isn't too late to apply for next year's freshman class! Follow the instructions below to complete the initial step of the process.

This can be accessed below. You can apply without having taken the High School Placement Test; however, you cannot be accepted until the test has been taken and scores have been reviewed.

Select the green button labeled "Apply Now" on our homepage.
Create a PARENT account.
Complete your child's application and submit it online.
There is a non-refundable application fee of $50 for all new students.

MKCHS Track
Zee Uzoh finished 2nd in the 100m dash. Christian Key finished 2nd in the 200m dash. Madison Plessala finished 4th in the 200m dash. Samantha Echegaray finished 4th in the 3200m run. Joseph Tortorice finished 4th in the 3200m run and 7th in the 1600m run. The team of Kim Nguyen, Alyssa Ybarra, Tyler Lewis and Jayla Fontenette finished 5th in the 800m relay.

MKCHS Boys Soccer
MKCHS Mens Soccer Program finished the season 2nd in TAPPS District 4 with a 7-3 record. Unfortunately, the team came up short in the Quarterfinals against Central Catholic HS. Congratulations on a great season!
The future looks bright for this program! JV mens' team finished with a record of 8-2-5. currently has a record of 6-2-5. They scored over 30 goals this past season with contributions from numerous players.

Kelly Dance Force
Our Kelly Dance Force competed in their 2nd competition of the season in Austin this past weekend. The girls won the Grand Champion Team, Officer Group, Best in Class and specialty awards. Most impressive, the girls won the Academic Award of Excellence with a GPA of 4.04.
The Informational Meeting for students who would like to tryout for a spot on the 2020-2021 dance team is February 27, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the Kelly Cafeteria.

The Voice of MKCHS
The MKCHS Choir traveled to Houston for their Dinner & a Musical trip this month. The group ate in the Theater District and saw "Once on this Island: The Musical."
