Information Update

What a week! The extreme cold put our entire area in a quandary. As of this morning, the temperatures are within a more normal range for this time of year and we can resume regular hours of school. We have appreciated the way you stepped up to meet the challenges. We know that it is difficult at times to make these changes which effect your schedules also. Safety of people must always come first.

We finished out second grading period the last day of school before Christmas vacation. So, now it is time for parent-teacher conferences. We will be having conferences next Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. If you cannot meet with your child's teacher during those times, arrangements can be made to meet with you when you can. This is an important conference. The ITBS test results will be shared with parents for students in grades three through eight. There will be sign up sheets for conferences next week. School will dismiss at 12:00 on Wednesday and Thursday next week to accommodate the conferences. We will not be eating lunch at school those days.

January 19th is a day off from school because of Martin Luther King Day.

For grades 1-3, keep in mind that we play our bells not this Sabbath, but next Sabbath, January 17th, at Cicero church.

Please keep our school in your prayers, as we keep you in prayer.

Have a blessed day,

Mrs. Olson
