Goals this week:
Math: I can find my errors on the Acuity assessment and work to solve the problems correctly. I can round and estimate amounts to help me with multiplication. I can analyze data in tables, charts, and graphs.
ELA: I can identify the narrator's point of view in realistic fiction. I can use descriptive details to visualize events, characters, and settings in a story. I can use the correct verb tense in my sentences and make my subject and verb agree with each other. I can spell words with silent letters. I can use context clues to identify the meanings of unknown words.
Rounding and Estimation
0-4 rounds down, 5-9 rounds up.
This can help me add or multiply amounts to see if I'm close to the actual answer.
Reading Tables and Graphs
Looking at all of the information carefully can help me understand what is being presented.
Acuity B Review
The biggest topics tested were long division, fractions, and area and perimeter. We cover these in the next three chapters. We'll review the test to better understand what we missed.
