Cottage Lake Elementary - May 9, 2021
A Note from Principal Welch
Dear Families,
Thank you all for showering our staff with appreciation and love this past week. I loved seeing sweet notes, a few flowers, and goodies from our PTA provided to our staff. Thank you! We couldn't do this without you, but we have an amazing group of professionals supporting our students at Cottage Lake!
This newsletter is fairly short, but please do read over the PTA section! We are still really looking to fill a few critical positions in our PTA for next year. We absolutely must have at least one person to lead our PTA as President, so if you are interested, please reach out to Rachel Tarr to express your interest and to learn more about the position(s). Lastly, we have open nominations right now for our Outstanding Educator and Outstanding Volunteer. Please see the link below in the PTA section. We have so many people to consider and nominate!
It is my hope in next week's newsletter I will be able to share a family input form for next school year. I am still working through staffing numbers and confirming families who are returning to Cottage Lake in the fall. There is a possibility we will have a couple of splits next school year, so I am working hard to confirm our numbers to see if we can reconfigure our class numbers. More to come.
It is hard to believe we are down to 6 weeks of school remaining in this school year. I thank you all for all you have done to support Cottage Lake! We are so blessed to have you as our partners!
Let's have a great week!
Take care,
~ Jen Welch, Principal
