Hello Rolling Green Families!
As most of you know, beginning in the 2023–24 school year, Rolling Green Elementary students and staff will relocate to Karen Acres Elementary located at 3500 74th Street. We will be in a new location, but the students and staff pick up and move as a unit.
We are doing lots of planning for next year. Will you have a child ready for preschool in 2023-2024? If you have a child who will be 4 by September 15, 2023 please take a moment to fill out this one-question survey to help us with planning for next year.
Throughout the year we will have different opportunities to see the Karen Acres space and share more about the transition.

PreK-12 Math Curriculum Review Underway
This year, a leadership team of PreK-12 teachers have been engaged in learning and will be field testing two sets of instructional materials with students within our system. The two curriculum materials that are being field tested are: Illustrative Mathematics and Eureka Math² . During the week of November 14-18, all staff and parents/guardians will be able to review samples of materials and provide feedback as part of the curriculum review process. A table will be set up in the Rolling Green entryway for you to visit to review materials and provide feedback.

Nurse's Nook
It’s getting to be cold and flu season. Just a reminder that good and frequent hand washing is the best way to stay healthy and prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Please remind your student to cough into their elbow, not their hands. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth where germs enter our body. Avoid close contact with those who are sick. Stay home when you are sick and make sure that you are getting plenty of sleep and eating a healthy diet.

We're Hiring at Rolling Green!
Important Pick-Up & Drop-Off Reminders
- Always pull up as far to the south end of the sidewalk as possible - the further you pull up, the more cars we are able to get off the street and into the line.
- If you are in the pick-up line, parents must always remain in their vehicles.
- Students should enter and exit the vehicle curbside ONLY.
- if students need assistance buckling a seatbelt, pull forward to a parking spot or as far to the south end as possible.
Thanks for your cooperation - together we will make this work safely and efficiently.
