Holy Cross Thunderbolt Newsletter
November 16, 2022

Holy Cross Catholic School guides each student in developing academic, emotional and physical excellence while spreading the Gospel message as Jesus did, since 1868.

God of wonders,
Of seasons and cycles,
of ebbing and flowing,
of freezing and thawing:
Thank you for mornings
when we wake up to the beauty
of freshly fallen snow.
May the sight of snow
evoke in us the joys
of childhood,
of simple pleasures,
of walks wandering through
the hushed world
made new again.
Fill our hearts with joy
and pleasure,
with gratitude for
crisp, fresh air, and
with patience
for a slower pace.
Amen.

Mrs. Kendra Faudoa - School Counselor
My name is Mrs. Faudoa and I am the new school counselor here at Holy Cross. I will be at Holy Cross Monday and Wednesday mornings. I am here to make the school day a little brighter when sometimes it can feel not so bright. This can include individual student academic planning and goal setting, social and emotional lessons in the classroom, short-term counseling for students, referrals for long-term support, and advocacy for students at IEP meetings. Being a school counselor is the best feeling in the world! I love what I do and am so grateful to have the opportunity to change the lives of students in a positive way. Some of the things I like to do during my free time would be spending time with my 3 month old little girl, watching the Packers, going on walks, and watching Disney movies! I am so excited to see what this year will bring and cannot wait to get to know you all. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns, I am here to help!
