Over at the Golden Gate Learning Center Diana Kerskie brought in the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission where they shared about Florida's fish and wildlife resources and the role we all play within our community.
If you are planning on having a guest speaker present to your class please make sure to reach out to your site coordinator and get prior approval for the speaker by completing this district required form. In filling out the form, consider the purpose of the presentation as it relates to the frameworks and our students.

An Effective Strategy for Establishing a Routine:
Give the students a view of what will occur in class, sort of like an itinerary. Watch the 2 min. video to check out a Marzano strategy. It is helpful to have a routine for every day or night if you teach in the evening. (video is of a full-time instructor, but you will get the point if you are a part-time instructor)
