The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. It was in Seneca Falls, NY that Elizabeth Cady Stanton read a bold statement of purpose, which was modeled on the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Sentiments state, "we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men and women are created equal". Black Women's Suffrage digital resources including a timeline, key figures, and collections can be found through this link.
