NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving Break

Parking Lot - Driving Safely

We seem to have an issue with some of our drivers not following speed limits, and driving safely in our parking lots.

I have spoken to a handful of students as we have cameras in the lots and we have seen some of this type of driving. I have also fielded complaints from students, parents, and staff.

Any student that is caught driving in an unsafe fashion will lose their parking pass for the remainder of the school year. Additionally our SRO will be issuing a ticket for reckless driving.

60 SECONDS WITH THE SUPERINTENDENT

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a focal point for our District. PBIS is about strengthening positive behaviors in the classroom. Click HERE for this week’s ‘60 Seconds’ episode to learn more about how PBIS is helping Muraski Elementary create a positive learning environment.

Congratulations

Last week's week's student winner of the contest was Brian Beattie. Brian identified that the student dressed up was Mike Score: the lead singer of the 80s band Flock of Seagulls.

Brian won a box combo at Canes.
