Search Engine
By Luke Vuono
What is it exactly?
A Search engine is a program for the retrieval of data from a database or network, esp. the Internet. A couple examples of a search engine is Google, Bing, and yahoo. They help you find stuff you are looking for kind of like a library card catalog. You type in a word or words and it comes up with millions of different websites or webpages.
