Sexual Behavior
The famous philosopher Descartes said, “I think, therefore I am here.” He implied us that it is important to think, to explore, and to discover the world as human beings. In puberty age, we want to explore everything in the world especially sex.
The Sex
Sex is the biological aspect of being female, male, or other, assigned at birth based on external genitalia.
The Act of Sex
The act of sexual procreation between a man and a woman; the man's penis is inserted into the woman's vagina and excited until orgasm and ejaculation occur.
The Sexual Behaviors
Human sexual behavior refers to the manner in which humans experience and express their sexuality.
Human sexual activity has biological, physical and emotional aspects.
Biologically, it refers to the reproductive mechanism as well as the basic biological drive that exists in all species and can encompass sexual intercourse and sexual contact in all its forms.
Emotional aspects deal with the intense personal bonds and emotions generated between sexual partners by a sexual activity.
Physical issues around sexuality range from purely medical considerations to concerns about the physiological or even psychological and sociological aspects of sexual behavior.
Human Sexual Behaviors are different among different cultures.
In traditional culture the man must be in charge, and the woman must not enjoy the sexual experience, the man is a performer whose skills are proven effective upon arrival of his partner's orgasm, men are sexual while women are not.
Women cannot talk about it. Numerous studies have shown that most of these traditional sexual behaviors are not realistic, healthy, or conducive to open communication or negotiation of sexual needs and desires.
In sum, these traditional notions can be an undermining influence in the couple's intimacy.
