Monthly Board Meeting
The Trussville City Board of Education will hold their July monthly meeting on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 5:00 pm. The livestream link to the meeting will be published on the TCS website (www.trussvillecityschools.com) at 4:45 pm July 17 2023.
HAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION?
Families must have registrations submitted by Friday July 21, 2023 to receive their student’s teacher assignment or schedule. Registrations must be approved by the scheduled release date of the teacher assignment or schedule (please see below).
HTMS & HTHS
Student schedules will be released via the parent/student PowerSchool portal on Thursday, July 27 2023 @ 5PM, for students that have an approved registration by Thursday, July 20, 2023.
Elementary Teacher Assignments:
Teacher Assignments for elementary school students will be emailed (not U.S. Postal service) to parents via the PowerSchool Enrollment platform. The elementary school office will generate emails (not U.S. Postal service) with teacher assignments after regular office hours on the scheduled date of your child's grade level. Please see the distribution schedule listed below:
Tuesday, July 25, 2023- Grade 5 & 4
Wednesday, July 26, 2023- Grade 3 & 2
Thursday, July 27, 2023- Grade 1 & K
ATTENTION MAGNOLIA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARENTS - PRE-PURCHASED SCHOOL SUPPLIES!
Magnolia Elementary offers the option at registration to pre-purchase student supplies. These are the supplies listed on the school supply list for your child's grade level. Pre-purchased supplies are only $30.00.
Once purchased, your child's supplies will be waiting in their classroom the first day of school. An EASY way to handle school supplies and still be ready for the 1st day of school.
We are listing the school supply lists below in the event parents do not wish to take advantage of the pre-purchased supplies.

Cahaba Elementary offers the option to pre-purchase supplies through the school. This option will cover student school supplies as needed throughout the year.

August 9: Students with the last name beginning with letters A-J
August 10: Students with the last name beginning with letters K-Z

Remote Learning Days for Testing
+October 3 PSAT for all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who sign up for the test; Remote Learning Day for all students not testing
+October 24 Pre-ACT 10th grade, WorkKeys for 12th grade students needing this assessment; Remote Learning Day for 9th, 11th , remaining 12th grade students.
+March 12 ACT 11th grade; Remote Learning Day for 9th, 10th, and 12th grades.
